Everything about Lord Sri Rama

Rama is one of the most important Hindu deities. Rama’s myth is popular in South Asia and East Asia. Raman was the first son of Dasaratha, the king of Ayodhya, who was born to Kausalya, the queen. In Hinduism, Rama is considered a man of manners. Lord Rama is also considered as the God of goodness. His wife is Sita Devi, the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi. Sita is considered to be the best woman. Rama's brothers were Bharathan, Lakshmana, and Shatrughan.

Ramacharitha and the life of Rama are examples of Dharma. Rama was a good and perfect man. Kaikei demanded that his son Bharathan become king and for that Rama should go into exile for fourteen years, in anticipation of Dasaratha's vow. His wife Sita and brother Lakshmana went with Rama for fourteen years in exile as they could not separate from him.

During his exile, the demon king Lankeshwaran Ravana abducted Sita. After a long and arduous search, Hanuman discovers that Sita is in Lanka. At the end of the fierce battle, Ravana was killed and Sita was rescued.

After his exile, Rama returned to Ayodhya, and he was crowned king of Ayodhya. Thus, Rama became the emperor of the land, and the next eleven thousand years were known as the Kingdom of Rama, it was considered the age of happiness, peace, prosperity, and justice. Raman gave the exemplary kingdom of Rama to the world, and finally gave the kingdom to his sons Lava-Kushan and descended into the river Sarayu and ascended to heaven.

Lord Rama has a special place in the minds of the believers. Devotees who do not worship Lord Rama are rare. Ramanavami is a holy day when devotees worship Lord Rama with the recitation of Ramayana and chanting of sacred mantras.
